I have seen so many people on tik tok and Instagram going geocaching, So I thought why not give it a try and see what all the hype is.

I downloaded an app to help find where they are. The app was great it gave you exact locations and if a lot of people have found it or if its a waste of time.

We went to our caravan by the beach this weekend for Labour Day long weekend, my dad and I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to give geocaching a try.

There were a few on the way there but we stopped at 2 sadly we couldn't find them. But then we stopped at another one and after a few minutes of searching, we found it. It was a little canister with a little log sheet inside. I signed the log sheet put it back in the canister and put it back where I found it.


The next day we went to the lake near our caravan. The app said there were 4 around the lake. We first searched around a bridge but we had no luck. Next, we went to another one, sadly we couldn't find that one either. We were on to the next one. This one was supposed to be an easy one. We looked around for 5 minutes with no luck but then I spotted a tiny little canister on the ground and thought that might be it and it was. It was so little we could only write our initials on it. I put it back in the spot where it was supposed to be originally.  The last one was also an easy find, I found the spot where it was supposed to be and looked around, We found it. It was hanging on a tree. Again I signed it and put it back.


That was all I could find in walking distance of the caravan. But on the way back home we decided to take a different route and see if we could find some others. We ended up finding another one. I had made little badges in case I found a trading one. This canister was big enough to put a badge inside so I signed the log, left a badge and left. We went to another spot but no luck. There was so many along the street but we didn't have time to go all the way, Next time I will try and find more.


I can see how this can be addicting, I wanted to go and find so many more but I sadly didn't have time. I love this and whenever I go somewhere new I will try and find some more.

We got a few odd looks from passing drivers but we didn't care. It's also a great thing to do with other people, It's like a scavenger hunt. It was sad when we didn't find any but we just kept on going to the next one and crossed our fingers.

Hey there lovelies,

If you grew up in the late nineties and early 2000s in Australia then you will probably remember the show Round the twist.

I used to love that show growing up, A few years ago I found out that it was filmed here in Victoria along the great ocean road in Aireys Inlet. Its called Split point Lighthouse. I knew I just had to go visit it one day. So I did.



It was so beautiful seeing it in real life. Now I know its just a lighthouse but the fact that it was in one of my favourite shows growing up was amazing to see.


I had the Round the twist theme song going on in my head looking at this lighthouse.

The lighthouse is about an hour and a half out of Melbourne so you can make a day trip out of it. We also went to Willows tea house which was just down the road. We had some scones with cream and jam. It was a great day.

Also there was a beach just over a little hill which was perfect for a swim on a hot day.

Hey there friends,

I recently watched the 3rd season (or Part 3) of Sabrina. Here is my review.



I thought this season was pretty good. It's following along with the comics as a darker genre than previous seasons.

Following the season 2 finale, season 3 starts with Sabrina and her friends trying to save Nick from Hell.

To keep her role as the queen of Hell, Sabrina is challenged by Prince Caliban to complete some gripping tasks to defend her throne. All while trying to help the rest of the witches save the realm from the Pagans.

Its a treat for fans of Sabrina and Horror fans alike.

Some of the storylines were a bit all over the place, I feel like there were too many going on at once but hopefully next season some of the unresolved ones will be resolved. There were a few musical numbers in this season which I didn't mind I kind of liked them.

The only main negative that I have to say is that it's only 8 episodes. I would love for it to have been longer. If you liked the first 2 seasons you will automatically like this 3rd season.

This is a very different post than my usual posts.

So if you follow me on social media you will already know this.

But on the 13th March 2018, my beautiful mother passed away from ovarian cancer. She was 54 years old

She first got diagnosed in July of 2016. She had 4 chemos then a full hysterectomy and then 2 more chemos.

After the surgery, we were told that a piece less than half a centimetre was left under the lung. but the last 2 chemos should get rid of it.

She was in remission for 10 months until a visit to the oncologist for a check-up showed that the little piece had flared up. It was now throwing out fluid.

So a different oncologist suggested lung surgery to remove some of the cancer on the lung and to stick the lung to the chest.

1 week later she had surgery in September 2017. She was in the hospital for her birthday.

She was sent home and for 3 weeks she suffered because she couldn't breathe properly. She required oxygen but the hospital didn't organise any so 3 weeks later my mum fell and hit her head on the tiles because of the lack of oxygen. We called the ambulance and she was brought to emergency . She was later transferred to another hospital where she stayed for a week. They organised oxygen to be sent home with her.

Further tests showed that the fluid had come back around the lung and was now around the other lung.

She started chemo. With this certain chemo it was the same one she had the year before but on the 8th one, she got a reaction so they had to stop it. When she saw the oncologist again he put her on another chemo. After the 3rd she had a scan and it showed that the chemo wasn't working. They said that there was nothing else they could do. But mum demanded they do something so they gave her another chemo.

She was still on oxygen and she had more trouble breathing she could even walk to the bathroom without losing breathe. We got her a wheelchair so she could get out of the house.

But the Saturday of the labour day long weekend everything went downhill.

Dad was helping her have a shower and she said she wasn't feeling well so we called the ambulance.

They brought her to the hospital and gave her a mask to put on. Dad was with her and then he left that night and came home. The next morning we got a call from the nurse telling us my mum is deteriorating and she was waking up and then falling back asleep. So we rushed there and saw her the doctor said they will try everything to get her back to normal. She was very sleepy that day but we thought when we returned the next day she would be better. But the next morning we got another call from the doctor and told us to come in because she is getting worse. We rushed in and she wouldn't wake up. I started crying we finally got her awake but she was very drowsy.

The doctor said that they tried everything and they would give her something to calm her down.

We called all our family in to see mum just in case she passed away. The room was packed. My grandmother was next to my mum all night. We even brought my dog Rocky to the hospital to see mum.

At 2:10 am on the 13th march my mother took her last breath surrounded by family. There was me and my dad, my grandmother, my mum's aunty and uncle, their son and my cousin. It was such a tough time.

We cried so much and being home without feels different. I'm expecting her to walk through the door.

We had her funeral on the 21st march 2018 it was such a beautiful service and we buried her in the mausoleum.

I learnt that family is the most important thing when things like this happen. I don't know what we would have done if we didn't have family around us supporting us.

It's just my dad and I now and our little dog Rocky. Time heals pain but I miss her so much every day.

When dad goes back to work and I'm home alone it's going to be the hardest because for the past 2 years I was her carer. I keep thinking about the things she will be missing out on in the future like birthdays etc. Mothers day will be the hardest.

UPDATE: So I decided to add this post to my daniical blog aswell. We also lost my dog Rocky on the march 9th 2019. Almost exactly 1 year after my mum passed away. We took him to the vet becasue he was having problems breathing and his gums and ears were white so we knew something was seriously wrong. The vet said that he only had 5% red blood cells and there are only 2 options we can give him a blood transfusion but that will only last 48 hours and it may not work or put him down. So we discussed it with my cousin and the vet was basically suggesting that putting him down was the preferred option. So we all agreed. We all couldn't stop crying. Rocky took his last breath with his paw in my hand. (Writing this I'm tearing up, I miss them so much) At least he wasn't alone when he passed.

I recently started watching Roswell New Mexico and I love it. It made me realize that I'm watching a lot of shows at the moment and Roswell was just another added TV show. These are in no particular order They are just listed as I remember the shows.

So I'm going to list the shows, Im, loving right now even if I'm waiting for the new season to come back this year. and also I will list TV shows I really want to watch whether they have come out already or they are coming out soon which I haven't started yet.

TV Shows I'm Loving 

• Roswell New Mexico - I only watched a few eps of the original Roswell but I can't remember what happens it was so long ago
• Good Trouble - I stopped watching the fosters after Callie got adopted but when I saw this show I wanted to try and see if it was good and I love it, It makes me want to watch the rest of the fosters.
• The flash - This is a show I watch with my dad and we both love it. 
• The Originals - I Know this is over but I am halfway through season 2 so I want to finish it because I love it.
• Izombie - I have been watching of Stan and I love it.
• Orange is the new Black - Waiting for Final season.
• You - Waiting for season 2
• The bold Type - Waiting for season 3
• The 100 - Waiting for season 6
• Stranger Things - Waiting for season 3
• Outlander - Season 4 just finished a few weeks ago and I can't wait for season 5.
• Derry Girls - I binged watched this show in like a day now I'm waiting for season 2.
• Sex Education - Waiting for season 2. 
• The chilling adventures of Sabrina - I loved the original Sabrina and I love how they took this show on a darker journey. Waiting for Part 2.
